Christian Montecchiani
I am a Data Science and Engineering master's student at Politecnico di Torino with an average grade of 29.07/30. I also participated in the Erasmus program at Aalto University in Finland, achieving an average grade of 4.63/5.
I have a range of technical skills including experienced programming languages such as Python and Java, familiarity with MongoDB NoSQL, SQL, C and R, and experience with Office, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Latex and Jupyter.
I have worked on various projects such as GUI implementation for Frogger Arcade, database implementation for Spoleto School using PostgresSQL and Twitter sentiment analysis using advanced text cleaning and feature extraction techniques. I have also worked on projects related to machine learning and deep learning such as the implementation of the Huffman algorithm for data compression, and a project on sim-to-real transfer of reinforcement learning policies in robotics. I am currently working on a project to compare reinforcement learning algorithms in different environments.
