MRIs are an incredibly important field of medical research and examination, a simple and painless exam to diagnose various things within the body, often used for brain scans specifically. The medical industry is already full of AI-enhanced tools, but out of all of them, brain scanning feels like the most ironically relevant of them all. The advancement of AI-supported MRI exams has even been pushed by Meta AI in the fastMRI Challenge of 2019 and 2020.
AIRS Medical have developed an AI for the support of MRI exams called SwiftMR, which is based on the technology they developed as part of the previously mentioned fastMRI Challenge (of which they won first place positions in both years). Their developed AI shortens MRI scan times and reduces visual noise in the produces pictures, greatly improving the MRI experience for both doctors and patients.
