The Emerging Markets Startup Booster Camp, sponsored by NVIDIA Inception and Oracle for Startups, will kick off soon as the application deadline approaches quickly.
The contest is for startups that want to show off their prowess in AI. Accepted entrants will choose one of two key themes to dedicate their work to: "Build smarter cities with AI" and "healthcare and life sciences". After defining a problem case, entrants must develop an innovative solution that uses AI to solve it.
As the contest is intended for startups, a minimum of 3 participants comprising a registered startup is required to enter; Additionally, you will be required to enroll in the startup programs offered by the sponsors to qualify.

What are the prizes?

There's a wide range of awards to go through here, so we'll start with hardware prizes: The first place winning startup gets a NVIDIA RTX A2000 GPU, great for hardware intensive AI processing. Two runner-ups will each get NVIDIA Jetson Nano Dev Kits, a small but powerful unit designed for running multiple models in parallel.
All winners additionally get an opportunity to showcase their project at Inception Business Connect, will be awarded $750 in credit towards certification on OCI, and be featured in a customer success case study video by Oracle.
All selected startups will be awarded $45,000 in cloud credits, with 70% discount for two years.

So, what's the deadline?

Entrants must apply by June 7th (that's tomorrow!), so be quick and send in your application. You can apply and read more details on the contest page here: https://www.openhackathons.org/s/siteevent/a0C5e000005U6WNEA0/se000125
