Construction jobs are expensive and take a lot of time - even more so when delays and disruptions cause projects to go over time and over budget. Without the constant supervision of managers, which isn’t always possible, it’s fairly normal for construction projects to face issues like this. These problems feel like a given to many construction companies, but in the current age, even construction management can be automated with AI.
Buildots is a company bringing machine learning into the construction space with a constant-supervision product that utilizes computer vision AI to analyze the status and progress of construction sites through hardhat-mounted 360° cameras. With models trained on datasets collected from construction sites across the world, Buildots’ AI can gauge the progress of many factors spanning construction projects.

Who’s funding Buildots and where’s the money going?

Today, Buildots has announced the completion of a Series C funding round which raised a total of $60 million for the company. The funding round was co-led by Viola Growth and Eyal Ofer’s O.G. Tech with additional participation from TLV Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Future Energy Ventures and Maor Investments.
Buildots will be using this raised money to further develop their AI service for a wider range of abilities so that more construction workflows may be supported.
