Those who keep up-to-date with Craiyon news might have seen Boris Dayma, the creator of Craiyon, going on about issues found in the image encoder/decoder portion of the model on Twitter in the last couple weeks. Today it seems like everything's fixed as a newsletter email was sent out announcing the release of Craiyon's new updated model.
The issues found were leading to the overwhelming blurriness present in Craiyon's output images, but with the new fixes in place and a good round of fine-tuning, the new model is ready. New images generated using Craiyon should appear much sharper, and generally higher quality compared to before.
