MuJoCo, a powerful physics simulation software developed by DeepMind, lets users create complex physics environments for a variety of use cases, including controllable robotics in machine learning applications. Its robust creation tools allow for extensive customization to fit project goals, but creating intricate robotic models can be a daunting task, and if not done right could ruin the whole purpose of the simulation.

DeepMind decided that it's time they introduced some prebuilt robots to make it even easier to get right into testing. They've released the MuJoCo Menagerie, a collection of 8 pre-made robots based on real-life hardware, ranging from hands to four-legged animals.

MuJoCo and the MuJoCo Menagerie are both open source, and the MuJoCo Menagerie has a specific call for contributors to fix and improve existing models, or even introducing an entirely new model. If you'd like to contribute to the MuJoCo Menagerie, you can head to this page.
This announcement also comes with the version 2.2.2 release of MuJoCo, which notably introduces adhesion actuators which mimic the real-life vacuum suction tips commonly seen on the end of arm-like robots.
