Hugging Face has become a household name in the machine learning space with it's enormous collection of pre-trained models and datasets for all sorts of machine learning use cases, ever-expanding as the years go by. Over the past year they've grown the company to over 120 team members, developing new products and services to support aspiring machine learning enthusiasts and established scientists alike. Today, they have announced the completion of a Series C funding round.

Who's funding Hugging Face and where's the money going?
This Series C funding round announced today has earned Hugging Face a total of $100 Million. The funding effort was led by Lux Capital with additional participation from Sequoia Capital, Coatue, and numerous returning investors including a_capital, Betaworks, AIX Ventures, Thirty Five Ventures, and more.
The $100 Million will help Hugging Face push forward stronger than ever on research and development for their platform and products in the ultimate goal of making the AI space more open-source and accessible to all.
