Lightricks Adds Text-To-Image AI To Mobile Photo Editing App

Lightricks' new text-to-image AI lets you create AI generated photos and edit them right in the app.

Joining in on the text-to-image AI generator craze is Lightricks, a company which develops media editing applications for mobile devices. Now incorporated to some of these apps is an AI-powered text-to-image generator, seamlessly integrated into their existing photo editing tools.

Basic usage of the image generator comes without any fees, so you can get right in to generating images and using them with the other free tools the apps come with. I found that images were generated in only a handful of seconds in my testing, making it also one of the faster options.
With a payed subscription to Lightricks' services, you can get access to a more powerful version of the model as well as the other premium media editing tools they offer. The text-to-image generator is included in Lightricks' Photoleap (on iOS) and Motionleap (iOS and Android) apps.

In Motionleap, the generated images can be used with the tools that gives it it's name - giving motion to still photos with motion vectors and other tools. Here's a couple that I threw together, also using the free version (the prompts were "a man standing on a rock viewing a cyberpunk city on fire in the distance" and "a dark and rainy rainforest"):
