LimeChat offers a variety of marketing solutions for direct-to-consumer brands, all driven through the power of their AI chat bots. Nikhil Gupta and Aniket Bajpai created LimeChat in response to sub-par customer support we're all familiar with.
They thought that, with the increase in online shopping globally in recent years and the potential of AI-driven chat, they could use the power of AI chat to streamline the consumer experience when shopping online.
Their services now increase sales and customer satisfaction across many direct-to-consumer brands, through a variety of avenues driven by AI chat capabilities.
LimeChat's funding
LimeChat receieved a total of $4.2 million through a seed funding effort led by Stellaris Venture Partners with additional contribution from Pi Ventures, Titan Capital, and other investors.

The money is earmarked for the next round of hiring efforts, as well as furthering research into AI chat developement.
AI chat bots for consumer experience
AI chat is often split into different levels of ability, depending on what the chat bot is capable of handling, it's interactability, and how natural it feels to talk to. These levels range from 1 through 5, 1 being static communication like fillable forms, and 5 being natural and fully adaptive communication.
The AI chat bots that LimeChat boasts about and offer are level 3 type, offering the ability to communicate with customers in a way beyond simple intent flowcharts. At level 3, the carefully built walls of directed communication begin to crumble in favor of adaptive, learning AI which attempt to communicate with the user beyond hard-coded conversational paths.
