Vayyar Imaging has been rapidly spreading their influence to countries and industries globally with their 4D imaging radar technology. Just like regular computer vision, radar imaging is applicable to nearly every industry, from automotive to medical.
Their powerful yet small single radar imaging chip collects data beyond just the visible light spectrum, and analyzes the complex signal using machine learning models to support any use case required. A stand-out use case featured on their website is for elderly care, with sensors able to detect falls and gleam insights from behavior with ML, yet still remaining keeping privacy a top priority.
Who's funding Vayyar and where's the money going?
In a Series E funding round announced, Vayyar has raised a total of $108 million from a funding effort led by Koch Disruptive Technologies with additional participation from GLy Capital Management, Atreides Management LP, Battery Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, More VC, Regal Four, and Claltech.
The money will be used for further expansions to locations and industries globally, and supporting development into improving the machine learning capabilities of their product.
