arXiv Partners With Hugging Face To Bring ML Demos To Paper Abstract Pages
arXiv and Hugging Face have partnered to bring Hugging Face Spaces demos to the research website.

Today, arXiv and Hugging Face announced that they have partnered to bring model demos built with Gradio and hosted on Hugging Face Spaces to the "demos" tab of many machine learning research papers hosted on the site. Only demos hosted on Replicate were listed in the demos tab before this, so hopefully with two sources we'll see it populated with many more.
Demos created by both the researchers and the community can show up in the new Hugging Face Spaces demos listing, whether they're simple showcases of the research or it's application in larger pipelines.
In BERT's case, there are over 200 listings for demos hosted on Hugging Face Spaces, whereas none are available from the Replicate source.
With the addition of Hugging Face Spaces demos listed on arXiv pages, it will become easier and quicker for people to try out the research for themselves. This will help increase research understanding and, given the open-source collaborative nature of Hugging Face, could help identify improvements which could be made on the research.
