Announcing our Brand New Generative AI Course with Andrew Ng and DeepLearning.AI

Good news, everyone. We've got a new free GenAI course with Andrew Ng. Here's what you need to know.

Introduction

Andrew Ng and DeepLearning.AI have taught and inspired thousands of our fellow machine learning engineers. That includes a lot of us here at Weights & Biases. That’s why we’re absolutely thrilled to announce we’ve partnered with Andrew and DLAI on a new course, all about training, evaluating, and debugging generative AI models. It’s out today and we want you to be the first to know!

So what else do you need to know? We’ve got you covered:

Is the course free?

Why yes. Yes it is.

What will I learn?

As you probably guessed from the title, this course is all about evaluating and debugging generative AI models. This is a five-part course where we start by instrumenting W&B, move onto training and sampling a diffusion model, and end by evaluating then fine-tuning an LLM. You’ll leave this course knowing best practices for reproducible model development and a lot more about how to debug and iterate on LLM modeling.

Who’s teaching the course?

Andrew Ng, who among his many bona fides, is the Founder of DeepLearning.AI, a Chairman and Co-Founder of Coursera, and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford. Our founding PM, Carey Phelps, will join Andrew as well as a ton of machine learning engineers from W&B who will help walk you through everything you need to know along the way.

Do I need anything to start?

We’ll walk you through it all in the course, but you’ll need a W&B account and familiarity with Python, PyTorch, or a similar framework to get the most out of this course.

Okay, I’ve heard enough. Sign me up.

We’d love to. If you head to this link, you can enroll for free and take the course starting now. Obviously, this course is on-demand so there’s no need to be any particular place at any particular time.
We’re really proud to be partnering with Andrew and his team on this and would love to hear from anyone who takes the course! We’re planning more of these interactive courses in the future and would always love to hear what you’d most like to learn about. Thanks—and enjoy the course!
