How to keep up with constant changes in ML tooling, Chris Van Pelt - Hi5 Studio
Thursday, April 14 2022 | 3:40 - 4:10pm CET
Traditional software development has a rich ecosystem of tools to help accelerate development and collaboration. ML workflows present a new set of challenges for engineers. In an ML workflow, engineers are writing code that is used by specialized machines to generate new logic. This logic is probabilistic as opposed to discrete. Once deployed, ML models can drift and become less effective over time. Most importantly, ML models are often trained on data from the real world. The logic a machine derives will amplify any bias or errors in its training data. This talk will explore the following challenges to the modern ML Workflow.
Carey Phelps - Workshop Stage 2
Friday, April 15 2022 | 11:30 - 12pm CET
What does it take to get the best model into production? We've seen industry-leading ML teams follow some of the same common workflows for dataset management, experimentation, and model management. I'll share case studies from customers across industries, outline best practices, and dive into tools and solutions for common pain points.
