Hugging Face's Accelerate lets you run your PyTorch training scripts on any kind of device easily. With minor code changes, you can easily deploy your code on any of the supported processing unit setups. If your dev environment is complicated and you're switching between devices frequently, you might want to consider using Hugging Face's Accelerate.
What's new in Accelerate v0.7?
Tracking model statistics and performance logs in multi-processing environments can be difficult and complex, but with Accelerate's new logging API, you can easily intergrate your favorite logging library (including Wandb!) into your process with just a few lines of code.
Other changes include: Accelerate now supports the use PyTorch's recently released FSDP model wrapper, new utility for batching sizing automatically finds ideal batch size and avoids CUDA OOM errors, the Accelerate examples selection has been revamped for more intuitive use, and many additional smaller changes.
